Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our Data Analytics Department. In this role, you will report to the Head of Analytics and be responsible for applying mathematical and statistical methods to financial and risk management problems. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the financial markets, particularly dealing and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop quantitative models to analyze and predict market dynamics and risks.
- Assist in the risk management process, using sophisticated statistical techniques to manage and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct research and perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities in financial markets.
- Generate reports and present findings to management, providing actionable insights based on quantitative analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst, preferably in the financial markets.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, dealing, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in mathematical and statistical modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of developing and implementing quantitative models.
- Strong understanding of financial market dynamics and risk management principles.
- Proficient in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and insights.
