What’s your mission?
As an IT Manager at CAPEX.com, you’ll be at the center of the most cutting-edge innovation initiatives in one of the hottest industries presently. You’ll be working with our team using the most up-to-date technologies and methods, being essential to the progress and development of all our technical projects.
What you’ll be doing
As an Expert:
· Management and coordination of IT-related activity including IT support teams, data and wireless communication, VoIP, IT security, hardware & software maintenance.
· Network monitoring, network optimization, regular infrastructure audits.
· Administration of Microsoft Infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory).
· Administration of multi-cloud setup (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), worldwide data centers, and local on-premises infrastructure.
· Ensure the maintenance of high-availability infrastructure, emphasizing redundancy and reliability to guarantee minimal downtime and optimal performance.
· Infrastructure proactive monitoring, regular updates, and strategic planning to ensure robustness against potential system failures or data loss.
· Development and implementation of policies and procedures, with a focus on compliance standards like ISO, GDPR, etc.
· Coordination and supervision of IT staff members.
· High involvement in IT audits, certifications, and IT governance responsibilities, detailing specific certifications or standards involved
As a Leader:
· Train, motivate, and lead your local team in the Bucharest HQ, and the teams in our offices around the world.
· Hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations of all infrastructure, coaching, and helping your team to perform their tasks.
· Emphasize multicultural teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration
As a Team player:
· Member of Management Team, you will collaborate with other Managers for key decision making and develop and monitor strategic initiatives, organizational performance.
As a Good communicator:
· Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure, accountable for directing, coordinating, and overseeing all areas of the infrastructure (information technology, system administration, digitalization and security teams).
· Key role in strategic planning from a technology perspective, actively leading your team to ensure objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately, and resources are used responsibly. · Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role.
· Certified IT skills or IT management courses showing a desire for continuous learning.
· Exceptional team management and technical skills.
· Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
· Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
· Lead, grow, and inspire the tech departments while building strong ownership.
· Evaluate business opportunities and their impact and feasibility on the infrastructure.

· Soft skills like adaptability, problem-solving, and creativity.
· Propose changes to our architecture that solve scaling and performance problems;
