PayRetailers’ business is growing exponentially, our Innovation department is looking for a Head of BI.
As Head of BI, you will play a crucial role in harnessing data-driven insights to support our business objectives, enhance decision-making processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead the development of BI teams across various business units, manage current and future data sources through the Data Warehouse team, and spearhead ML/AI initiatives in critical areas.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- BI Team Leadership: Build and manage BI teams for each business unit, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and excellence.
- 2. Data Warehouse Management: Oversee the Data Warehouse team responsible for managing current and future data sources, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.
- 3. ML/AI Initiatives: Lead and drive ML/AI projects related to Risk, AML, KYC, and customization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions.
- 4. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a BI strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and regulatory requirements.
- 5. Data Governance: Establish data governance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- 6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business leaders to identify BI needs, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and provide insights for informed decision-making.
- 7. Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- 8. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of BI initiatives and identify areas for improvement..
- 9. Talent Development: Attract, mentor, and develop BI and data analytics talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of BI tools, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, particularly in the context of Risk, AML, KYC, and customization projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the financial sector is a plus.
