JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a vital role in driving business growth in specific markets by collaborating closely with the marketing department and establishing strong relationships with introducers in those countries. Your primary objective will be to generate leads, expand the client base, and contribute to the overall revenue targets of the company.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and research target markets, assess market potential, and devise effective strategies to penetrate new markets.
– Collaborate with the marketing department to develop targeted marketing campaigns, materials, and promotions tailored to specific regions.
– Build and maintain relationships with introducers, brokers, and other strategic partners in target markets to generate qualified leads and referrals.
– Act as the primary point of contact for introducers, addressing their inquiries, providing necessary support, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
– Conduct market analysis, monitor industry trends, and keep abreast of competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
– Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build a strong professional network.
– Prepare and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to potential clients and introducers.
– Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
– Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams regarding market trends, client preferences, and competitor analysis.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Forex industry or financial services sector.
– Strong understanding of the Forex market, trading instruments, and the financial services industry.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
– Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet business development targets.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
– Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and navigate cultural differences in target markets.
– Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management tools.
– Fluency in English, both written and oral plus one other language according to the regions of responsibility (Arabic, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai or other Asian language).
– Willingness to travel as required to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.
